On Tuesday August 19th  the senior school children (years 3-6) went to the Folk Dance Festival at the ASB Stadium in Kohimarama. On the following week Tuesday August 26th, the junior school children (years 0-3) had their Folk Dance Festival at the same venue.  It took five weeks to learn the dances. Some of the dances were: Louisiana Saturday Night, Minuska, Brown Girl in the Ring, and En Din Dino.The children loved dancing and grooving to the music.
